WHO WE ARE
GoHA is a child-centred ministry that aims to prevent and relieve poverty, provide education, provide health facilities, help the community to develop, and provide clean water for drinking and household purposes in Africa.
We serve children ages 4 - 13 years, with preference given to aids orphans, who were born and reside in Africa partnering with twinning school(s) located in the United Kingdom, the Caribbean and or the United States of America.
WHERE WE WORK
The Board of Directors in the United Kingdom govern and raise finance to support the vision / purpose to prevent and relieve poverty mainly in Africa (current focus Kenya). We collaborate with organisations and individuals in Antigua and Barbuda, Montserrat, the United Kingdom and the United States of America who join us in lifting up those we serve.
WHAT WE DO
In Kenya we provide:
- education via the Donald Romeo Community School
- health facilities (via clinic, etc.),
- clean water for drinking and household purposes, and
- developing the community for sustainability via agriculture, prison ministry, etc.

The testimony of a Kenyan who had gone to school naked due to abject poverty, haunted me so much that I went to Kenya to see conditions for myself. What I saw so moved me that I started a small-scale, health ministry for children that eventually became Good Health for Africa, a registered charity which produced, in 2004, the Donald Romeo Academy, a primary school, in one of the poorest parts of Western Kenya. The initial roll of 100 is now 350 and growing!
But until recently, the main source of income for the school was my savings and my salary from my inner-city teaching.

- 1 physiotherapist
- 2 lawyers
- nurses and a
- business manager
- 1 currently studying Information Technology having gained plain grade As in high school
